Father & Daughter before the RaceDevyn is in a Run Club at school and she ran her first 5K race this past Saturday in the Annual Emerald Coast Jingle Bell Run that benefits the Arthritis Foundation. Courtney ran it with her and she did AWESOME! She ran a practice 5K about 3 weeks ago to get a base time. In the Jingle Bell Run she beat her practice run by 5 minutes!!!! She was so happy and excited!! I'm hoping she will come to love running like I do now and enjoy the health benefits from it. She will have two more 5K's before school is over. I'm hoping to get to run one with her in one of the spring races.
