This flu season seems to have been the worst year yet! Especially for our family! I had it bad about 3 weeks ago and I had not been that sick in years with really bad body aches, chills and fever and congestion. Well since then, Taylor & Jayde have somewhat had it. They had the fever for a day or two but the congestion seems to be what lingers on.
Well now Courtney has it! He started with the congestion too and then had to go see the doc Wed morning cuz he had chills all the night before. So he's been home in bed since Wed morning. He seemed to be doing somewhat better today....was able to be up on the couch today instead of in bed but tonight he's not doing so well again. Says he's got a splitting headache that really sounds like a migraine.
On an interesting note, the doc called him this morning and told him that his flu tests that they took on Wed came back and come to find out he has Flu strains A and B !! The doc said he was a winner cuz most folks only have one or the other. So lucky us! I am really just praying that Devyn doesn't come down with it cuz she has FCAT tests (FL schools state tests) all this next week and Gabe for sure doesn't need this mess! Let's pray this all gets over with soon!!
