For those wondering or concerned......
Tropical Storm Edouard is headed our way and is expected to hit our area sometime in the morning (Tues). We have gone to the store, stocked up on supplies, filled our trucks & gas cans and have plenty of water, diapers, food, etc to last us a while so we are prepared in that aspect. We are expected to get lots of rain and wind from this guy and possibly loose power.
In case you may not have any idea around TX and where we live now, we are about 25 miles northwest of Galveston. They are not evacuating Galveston so we are gonna stay home as well. They are still not sure EXACTLY where the storm will hit (supposedly somewhere between here and Beaumont which is east of us) but we know we will get lots of weather no matter where it lands.
Just keep us and everyone that will be affected by this storm in your prayers......that there will be minimal damage if any and we will all be kept safe. We will update when the storm has passed and when we have electricity if it does go out for a time.
