FHE Halloween Tradition

Last night for Family Night we did our yearly super fun activity of 'Booing' people. It is so much fun and we all had a blast!

If you've never booed someone or been booed....you get a bag of goodies together and then go drop it at someone's doorstep, ring the doorbell, and run! Devyn calls it 'Ding Dong Ditch'. haha

We hadn't been booed this year and I hadn't really heard of anyone talking about it so I got together 6 bags with candy and mini loaves of homemade pumpkin bread and dropped them at 6 families last night. Devyn & the girls did about 4 of them, I did one, and Courtney & the girls all did the last one. It was so cute so see them all crouching down as they sneak up the driveways to the front doors. They'd get to the front door set it down and we could always see Taylor take about 5 steps backwards before the doorbell got rung....ready to run! haha

there may be some people to read this and realize who booed them last night!! haha
oh well! ;o)

The night made for a lot of great laughs and fun family time!

I found these cute bags at WM on sale last year
(I usually just get regular gift bags or halloween buckets and make my own)

the booing girls

sneaking up a driveway
it would crack us up at how they would crouch down as they ran up the driveways
hehehe

We do this every year as well. I love those bags that you found! They are perfect!!! Jay loves to watch Daddy run and jump in the car. He really gets a kick out of it. Can't wait to see him running. Your girls are adorable!! And your little man is too cute!
