not sure why I decided to take the kids on another adventure by myself...... (guess I didn't learn with the Livestock show)
but I took the kids to the zoo with all the rest of the crazies!!

the shepherd dogs live right next door...those dogs get up to 150-200lbs!!!
this always amazes me........that a cheetah can run as fast as we drive on the freeway!!!

and go home...........
it worked!!
we walked back over to the lions on the way out to see ifwe could catch them awake and this is what we found......
hahaha.....apparently he's famous for sleeping like this!

Don't worry, you didn't go to the zoo during Nap time... we have a zoo pass and the lions are ALWAYS asleep! Jay gets so upset but what can ya do. Also, don't go on free days at the zoo. Total madness. I have friends that went one time and they said that there was a line to even get in the gates. No thank you for me! Let me know when you are going to try it again and maybe we can meet you down there. We love to go to the zoo and have a picnic there!
