Devyn had a Social Studies project called a Country Extravaganza.
They were divided into groups and Devyn was assigned to the country Cuba.
The parents also had to participate. We were in charge of setting up a booth and each parent had to make a dish from their country for everyone to sample. I made a Coconut Chicken that was awesome and also did a Mojito Cake. For our booth there were also black beans, rice, fried plantains, fresh strawberries, avocado salad, and empanada's. It was all yummy!!!

Each student had to make their country flag out of a pillowcase that counted as part of their grade.
