Road Trip

Courtney and I took a little road trip......
we left Thursday morning and flew from Houston to Salt Lake City,
(yes AGAIN for me!)
and met up with my friend Tracy.
We bought their truck from her and drove it back to TX....getting back this afternoon.
whew that is one longggg drive!!!

THE NEW RIDE

Its a 2003, fire engine red, GMC Sierra....
Duramax Diesel, crew cab, leather, automatic, 4x4, lift kit, AT tires, custom rims, rhino liner, tool box, dvd player, 6 disc CD changer, performance chip.....you name it and this truck has everything that Courtney has ever wanted in a truck....and it was at a deal that we couldn't pass up!!

It was such a fun little get away for us
(Thank You Chrystan for watching the kids for us!!!!)
and it is so fun to see his face lit up behind the wheel of this truck!!

So here are some pics of our trip.....
and my husband on CLOUD NINE!!!

the only bad weather we hit was in TX just east of Abilene....
we pulled over to get diesel and it started to hail.
There were tornado warnings in the area and as soon as the hail died down we got the heck outta there and headed south away from it!!!
There was this pretty rainbow though.

One good thing is Courtney is going out of town for the next 2 weeks so guess who gets to drive it.....
YEP...you guess it...ME!!!!
I'll have it good and broke in by the time he gets home!
and of course all Cowgirled Up!!!
;oD
