Outstanding Airman Award Ceremony

Courtney was selected as the NCO of the Year for Ellington Field last month which then sent him to the state level to compete against other winners from bases around the state of TX this past weekend. There were 9 nominees in his category and unfortunately he wasn't selected as the overall winner at the state level, but we are so proud of all his hard work. Since we've been here in TX he has truly had more on his shoulders than ever before with being the first one here at Ellington a year and a half ago to stand up a new TACP unit from the ground up.

Click here for the article recap in the TX Air National Guard News of the Awards Ceremony we attended at Camp Mabry in Austin.

ALL the nominees in their categories:
Airman of the Year
