I had just gotten back from picking Devyn up from watching the last volleyball game...
then we were goofing off in the car and I was taking pics of what it would be like to have 6 kids.....they were too funny!!
{and btw, I am SO grateful we are done at FOUR. ;oP}
{my niece Cameron is here for a couple weeks and my nephew Cole was here for the night}
Then we all piled outta the car. As I'm getting things and making sure ALL the kids are out, {unbeknownst to me} Jayde runs over in the grass and does a cartwheel, lands on it wrong and 'pops' her arm, and then follows the other kids inside and sits on the couch, which is where I find her whinning about her arm hurting. I come in shocked to see her hurt and asked her what happened...???.....I mean we had JUST walked from the car in to the house.....she says she 'popped' her arm. I go over and take her left arm and turn it over to inspect it and I feel it......bones moving and clicking in her forearm!!!!!! I almost had a small panic attack!!! First broken anything for me to ever see in person!! I still wasn't quite sure, thinking maybe it was her elbow popped out of place, until she was starting to freak out that she couldn't raise her hand up or move her fingers.....then that's when I got worried and knew an ER trip was coming. I finally had her hold both arms out side by side and that's when I could tell that there was something definitely off in her forearm.

Of course, Courtney was NOT at home when this happened....he had to run back up to work about 15 mins before this happened so he met us at the ER.
{the nurses LOVED my 'sling' I made for her and called me MaGuyver Mama....hahahha!!}
the ER was great, super nice people, not busy at all, and they even had the x-ray machine wheeled into the room we were in and within 15-20 mins later......
there is was on the computer screen!!!!
complete closed ulnar fracture.
the bone snapped right in two.
CrAzY!!!!!
she was such a trooper and hardly cried until they had to splint it.
the way they had to hold her arm up by her 1st two fingers caused it to 'pinch' in her arm.
poor baby!!!
;o)
**I am now putting the pieces together and figuring out that she did a cartwheel the opposite way she normally does them and that's where she landed on it wrong and broke it**
