Sadly, the main reason they were here was so that we could go up to the hospital and visit our friend (my cousins wife) Melissa who was in a tragic accident last Saturday evening falling off a rope swing at the river before she made it over the water. She's been in the Trauma Shock ICU in Houston with brain trauma and fractures and has had slow progress each day.
It has definitely made us all realize how precious life really is and how in one quick instant your life can completely change.
