Annual Cookie Exchange

I hosted our 2nd Annual Cookie Exchange again this year. It was a lot of fun and we had even more ladies turn out this year than last year. Last year we had about 15 and this year we had about 20. Its really fun....everyone brings 6 dozen cookies (of one kind) and then after we've pigged out on appetizers & apple cider, we go around the room and tell what cookie we brought and where we got the recipe....whether it be a family recipe, out of a cookbook, an experiment, etc. Then we get our baskets & containers and go around the table and get about 4-5 of each kind of cookie to take home to our families to share. It really is a cool way to get to try new and different kinds of cookies without having to bake them all yourself!
