We had a big Going Away Party on Saturday for all us that are leaving in the next few weeks. It was a fun time for all at the park and everyone brought great food for the potluck to share. I made some aprons with our names on them (me, Melissa, & Nellie) so that everyone could sign them. Nellie made an awesome friend quilt for Dave & Melissa from all of us. She did a great job! Mike & Nellie's gift was a cute flag that said 'Home is where the Air Force sends us' on it with the dates they were here at Hurlburt Field on it and then Guam, which is their next duty station. It was really cute.
The kids had a great time playing at the playground and the skate park watching the boys skateboard and even trying it themselves. They were filthy dirty by the time we left there! They had played hard!
