School around here was supposed to start back up this Tuesday the 23rd but I just got word last night they they are not gonna get to go back to school now until Monday the 29th!!! What the heck?!?!? What am I supposed to do with the kids all next week with this area a disaster area and nothing to do?!
When/If they go back to school on the 29th, they will have missed 12 days of school thanks to Ike. I'd like to know how they're gonna make those days up this year.

Unfortunately, the time will be made up during summer vacation-UNLESS the state gives your district a waiver. bet there will be a lot of requests for those.
