Happy New Year!!

We started off our New Year with Courtney running his first marathon!

He ran the Texas Marathon (which is 26.2 miles for you non-runners). The kids and I had fun cheering everyone on as they ran a 4 loop course that was 6.5 miles each.

this poor man.....he fell down twice in the first loop and one more time in the 3rd loop.....but he cowboy'd up and completed that marathon!!

you see people in all shapes, sizes, ages......
and the best part are the funny things people do to make it interesting!

this guy was hilarious....he had a different color pair of these glasses for each loop....
pink, blue, silver and then gold.

now that's a hard core marathoner and Ironman!!
